Bruce Levin, Executive Director
Bruce Levin, Executive Director, co-founded MAC Realty Advisors with Andrew McAllister in 2010.
Prior to MAC, Mr. Levin was a Principal and Executive Vice President at CIG International LLC, a national mezzanine debt and equity investment company. CIG’s investment partners included: Fannie Mae’s American Community Funds, Lehman Brothers, IHP, and an Sanyo Electric Company. CIG International funded residential projects including ground-up construction, apartment-to-condo conversions, and land developments throughout the nation.
While at CIG International, Mr. Levin and his team invested $182 million into 97 residential transactions representing 18,581 units and lots. In total, the firm deployed over $400 million into high yield residential investments projects in the Northeast, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast regions. In addition to being a key principal, Mr. Levin ran the firm’s national production and oversaw regional offices in Orlando, Chicago, and New York. In July 2004, CIG International was sold to Capital Source (NYSE: CSE), a Maryland based publicly traded specialty finance firm.
Before joining CIG International in 1994, Mr. Levin was an asset manager in the Multifamily Division of Freddie Mac.
Mr. Levin received his MBA with a concentration in Real Estate and his undergraduate degree in Finance from The George Washington University. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland.
Member of DCBIA, Urban Land Institute and is a member of the Old Takoma Business Association.
Andrew McAllister, Executive Director
Andrew McAllister, Executive Director, co-founded MAC Realty Advisors with Bruce Levin after a successful career at Cushman & Wakefield where he was a senior leader within the Capital Markets Group from 2001 to 2010. During this time he focused on placing debt and equity for residential developments, acquisitions, and permanent financings. His frequent and noted success at advocating large “imputed land equity capital accounts” on behalf of his development clients helped to spawn his team's foray into land sales where he brokered many of the region's top sales.
At Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. McAllister was recognized with numerous service honors. His performance placed him in the top ten producers regionally and the top 15 percent nationally. His team also won the Client Service Award in 2004 and 2006. The Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors ranked Mr. McAllister as a Top 5 Finance Producer for multiple years.
Mr. McAllister worked in Cushman & Wakefield's Loan Sale Group (2006 to 2008) where he was part of an advisory team responsible for the sale of more than $3 billion in mortgage loans. Locally, his past professional experience includes working as a commercial real estate loan officer at ITT Real Estate and General American Life and a mortgage broker at Walker & Dunlop. In those capacities he closed more than $500 million in commercial and residential transactions. Mr. McAllister started his Washington, DC-based real estate career in 1986 as an analyst with Jones Lang Wootton (now JLL).
Mr. McAllister received his MBA with honors from Columbia Business School and his undergraduate business degree in finance from Georgetown University. He has been a speaker at numerous industry events including Crittenden, the Mortgage Bankers Association, the Urban Land Institute, the District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA), and RealShare. Mr. McAllister is a member of the DCBIA, The Economic Club of Washington, D.C., the Real Estate Group, and the National Multi Housing Council. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Virginia, Maryland, and Massachusetts.
Matthew Crossley, Vice President
Matthew Crossley serves as Vice President of MAC Realty Advisors and brings 16 years of experience spanning real estate private equity, development, asset management and investment banking. From his past experiences, Matt brings both the perspective of an institutional investor, as well as that of a sponsor and seeks to achieve client’s financing goals by crafting solutions that align interests and drive value.
Prior to joining MAC Realty Advisors, Mr. Crossley served as Vice President of Capital Markets in Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Washington, D.C. office, which focused on commercial real estate debt and equity financings across the continental United States. During his tenure at NGKF, Matt worked on financings across all major property types with a particular focus on multifamily financings. During his tenure, Mr. Crossley underwrote and placed over $450 million in total financings that included senior, bridge and construction debt, as well as joint venture equity for value-add and ground-up multifamily development projects.
Prior to NGKF, Matt served as Vice President of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Mid-Atlantic real estate investment banking group and was an analyst for Real Estate Capital Partners (RECAP) in their asset management division where he worked with RECAP Funds IX, X, XI, Metro II and Metro III. These Funds were invested in over 8,000 multifamily rental units across the United States with an estimated value of over $2.5 Billion Dollars.
Mr. Crossley currently serves an adjunct professor at Georgetown University and teaches Structured Finance in the School of Continuing Studies, Masters in Real Estate program. Matt received his Masters in Real Estate from Georgetown University and received a BA in Communications Studies from UNC-Greensboro.

Nick Rubenstein, Director
Nick Rubenstein is a Director with over ten years of experience in the real estate industry. He has worked in multifamily development as well as real estate brokerage. Mr.Rubenstein joined MAC in 2012.
With over a decade of professional experience, Mr. Rubenstein has become an expert in financial modeling. Over the years he has honed his skills at discounted cash flow analyses, equity waterfall structuring, sensitivity analyses, and the many varied aspects of development budgeting, including income analysis, construction budgeting, as well as monthly cash flow analysis from pre-development through construction, lease-up, and stabilization. Mr. Rubenstein's experience in project oversight gives him a valuable perspective on the many facets of development.
Mr. Rubenstein attended American University where he received a BA in Political Science. Awarded an academic scholarship, he later returned to American University's Kogod School of Business where he received his MBA with a concentration in Management Consulting. Mr. Rubenstein is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland.
Jessica Peters, Marketing Director
Jessica Peters is a Marketing Director for MAC Realty Advisors. She is the lead in development and execution of all marketing initiatives. Ms. Peters joined MAC Realty Advisors in 2015.
Ms. Peters received her Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from George Mason University. Ms. Peters is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Maryland.
Cliff Ayers, Real Estate Analyst
Cliff Ayers is a Real Estate Analyst for MAC Realty Advisors. He develops pro forma financials, gathers and evaluates economic, demographic, and real estate market data, and prepares offering memoranda and financial reports. Mr. Ayers joined MAC Realty Advisors in 2015.
Prior to MAC, Mr. Ayers was a Development Analyst at EDENS, where he worked on the 2 million SF Mosaic project in Fairfax, VA preparing various financial analyses/reports, assisting in construction administration and supporting the development team. Mr. Ayers received his Bachelor of Arts degrees in History from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC.
Bill Gribbin, Associate
Bill Gribbin is an Associate for MAC Realty Advisors. He is responsible for sourcing land and investment sale opportunities, deal analysis, and market analytics.
Prior to MAC, Mr. Gribbin worked for a private acquisition firm where he was responsible for analyzing and sourcing investment opportunities within the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Mr. Gribbin also worked for Urban Igloo, a residential focused brokerage firm, where he added multi-family properties to the Urban Igloo sales portfolio.
Mr. Gribbin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland where he was a member of the Men’s Varsity Lacrosse Team. Mr Gribbin is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
